About Satispay
What is Satispay?
Satispay is an Italian fintech company, headquartered in Milan and founded in 2013, that runs a payments and money app. Its careers page describes "750+ people changing how 6.5 million users pay, save, and invest", and says the company began when three friends thought paying should be simpler. The ads add that it started with payments and has since added benefits (corporate welfare vouchers), investing and cards. The legal entities behind the app are listed in the page footer: Satispay Europe S.A. provides payment services as a registered electronic money institution in Luxembourg, SatisWelfare S.p.A. provides corporate welfare services, and Satispay Invest S.A. provides investment services.
Where will I work?
Satispay lists four offices: Milan (the headquarters), Luxembourg (the home of Satispay Europe), Barcelona (a team that supports Satispay Europe with KYC and due-diligence work) and Naples (a sales hub opened in February 2025). On 5 November 2026 the job board had 77 live ads, of which 48 were listed in Milan, 21 in Luxembourg, 4 in Naples and 4 in Barcelona. Work is hybrid. Most Milan tech ads state "two days per week in-office (Tuesday and Thursday)", while compliance, FinCrime and several other ads state "three days per week in-office (Tuesday and Thursday + 1 of your choice)", in both cases "with the option to request extra remote time". The careers FAQ gives a three-office-days, two-remote reference model and adds that the policy "is not a rigid rule, and its application may vary for each role". Several ads require relocation to the Luxembourg or Barcelona offices, and Satispay says it will help with "relocation packages".
What is the Satispay team like?
Open roles sit in Business Development, Tech & Product, Operations, FinCrime Operations, Growth & Marketing, Governance, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, Finance and the CEO Office. The company calls itself "A place for owners" and states "Responsibility and bravery are our values. Ownership is our mindset." It is open about the pace: "The work is fast and demanding" and "It's an intense and stimulating journey", which it says "isn't for everyone". One backend engineering advert asks you to work in an "AI Engineering Culture", using AI as a core part of the engineering workflow, and the careers page says each team member on a permanent contract receives stock options. Hiring can include an introductory call, remote interviews, a technical assessment or business case and an onsite interview (not every role uses every step), with feedback promised within two weeks.
Work-Life Balance
Satispay lists "Flexible working hours" in the Flexibility card of its benefits, next to "Unlimited paid time off" and "Hybrid working policy". The same promise appears in the benefits section of 72 of the 77 live ads, across all nine departments and all three countries with open roles: "Flexibility: unlimited PTO, hybrid working policy, flexible working hours." No core-hours window or start and finish time is published, so what flexible hours means in practice is worth asking each team. Office days are fixed (Tuesday and Thursday, plus one day of your choice for some roles), paid time off is described as unlimited without a day count, and the company describes its own culture as fast, demanding and intense. Family leave is listed as "Enhanced parental leave" and "Additional leave for child sickness".
