What is &samhoud?
&samhoud is a Dutch strategy and change consultancy founded in 1989 by Salem Samhoud. It helps leaders achieve organisational breakthroughs through strategy, leadership and team development, change management, culture change, innovation and behavioural transformation — supported by creativity, AI, data and gamification. Its purpose is simply put: "Together we build a brighter future. We achieve breakthroughs by inspiring and connecting people."
Over time &samhoud has grown into a family of "boutiques" and labels beyond consulting, including &samhoud food, &samhoud media, the two-Michelin-star restaurant &moshik and the serious-gaming studio &ranj — broadening its reach into media, hospitality, food, gaming and healthcare. It works with major clients such as VodafoneZiggo, NS, RTL Videoland and Philips.
Where will I work?
&samhoud is based in the Netherlands, with offices in Amsterdam and Utrecht and an international presence reaching Germany, Switzerland and Asia. Work location is flexible — employees split their time between home, client sites and the offices — and the firm offers an annual budget to work abroad, with accommodation and expenses covered.

Work-Life Balance
&samhoud introduced a four-day work week, announced in January 2025, reinforcing an already generous approach to time and rest. Holiday is unlimited — employees themselves determine how much time off they need — and after four years of service everyone is entitled to a three-month paid sabbatical, giving consultants genuine room to recharge between demanding client engagements. The flexible-location model and abroad-working budget further support a healthy balance between intense project work and personal life.
