What is RocketAir?
RocketAir is a design and strategy company that specializes in brand, product, and motion. The agency's self-described approach is "Orbital Design" — "01/ There's no one-size-fits-all. We adapt our services to the problem we're solving. 02/ We work by orbiting our clients. 03/ Leading with strategy, we use empathy and insights to reveal newfound clarity. 04/ And we design in constant cycles of iteration, until we arrive at the best possible solution."
Founded by Taylor Rosenbauer (Founder & CEO), the studio "creates brands that people remember" and "builds products that people love." In August 2023 RocketAir CEO Taylor Rosenbauer published an as-told-to essay in Business Insider — "My company runs on a 4-day workweek. Our days can be intense but revenue has increased and we're never going back." Fast Company has separately published RocketAir's thinking in "6 steps companies can take to prepare for the 4-day workweek revolution," including rethinking billing models and focusing on value instead of time.
Where will I work?
RocketAir is headquartered in New York, NY but the team has been "remote from day one." Per the careers page: "We've been remote from day one. No commutes. Just work and play. Out-of-this-world talent from all over the world." The team is fully distributed — "We lead a global, remote-first crew in bringing heart and humanity to digital experiences." Current openings are perpetual "General Interest" listings for Designer, Producer, Strategist, and Webflow Developer roles, all REMOTE.

Work-Life Balance
4-Day Workweek — described on the careers page simply as "TIME TO RECHARGE." Combined with flexible PTO and dedicated Volunteer Days, the schedule is built around what CEO Taylor Rosenbauer wrote in Business Insider: fitting five days' worth of work into four was challenging at first, but revenue increased through the pilot and "we're never going back."
