About Red Points

What is Red Points?

Red Points is a brand-protection software company. Its adverts say "Red Points is the most widely used solution to recover digital revenue." and that "Over 1.000 companies rely on our platform to fight counterfeits, piracy, impersonation, and distribution abuse." The About page describes a company "Born in Barcelona, based in New York" with "300+ employees" and "1,300+ brands" among its clients. The company's own information page lists the headquarters as "Barcelona, Spain (global offices in New York, Salt Lake City, and Beijing)", and the legal notice names RED POINTS SOLUTIONS, S.L. with its principal place of business in Barcelona. A December 2017 press interview hosted on the company's site says "The company was founded at the end of 2011 by Josep Coll, an intellectual property lawyer."

Where will I work?

Six of the eight adverts open on 6 November 2026 are for the Barcelona office, at Berlín Street, 38-48, 08029 Barcelona; the other two are in New York and Salt Lake City. The adverts mention offices in "New York, Barcelona, Beijing, and Salt Lake City". The four permanent-role Barcelona adverts say "We have a hybrid model, with a flexible start time.", and the two internship adverts say "Paid internship, on-site." Days in the office per week are not stated in the advert texts; the OSINT Investigator posting's location field reads "3 days office, 2 remote weekly". At the office the adverts offer fresh fruit and "a huge variety of different kinds of milk, coffee, thé, and cereals".

What is the Red Points team like?

The careers page asks "Would you like to join a fast-growing company with a multicultural team of friendly people of over 30 nationalities in one of the top startup cities in Europe?" and says "We believe real success starts and ends with hiring the very best people, empowering them, and making sure they have a whole lot of fun along the way." Team life includes two team-building offsites a year, in summer and winter, a monthly afterwork on the last Thursday of the month and internal events with guest speakers. The open Barcelona roles are a Service Implementation Specialist (an entry-level role that is "highly operational and focused on precision and technical setup"), an IT Support Specialist for the Barcelona office, an OSINT Investigator, a Sales Development Representative and two paid six-month internships, one in YouTube account management and one in brand protection within Customer Operations.

Work-Life Balance

The careers page lists "Reduced working hours": "We leave work early every Friday and every day through August." The four permanent-role Barcelona adverts, in service implementation, IT support, research and sales, repeat it as "Fridays we have reduced working hours. And every weekday during August." and add "We have a hybrid model, with a flexible start time." and "23 working days of holidays per year, plus the local public holidays." No finishing time, number of hours or weekly-hours figure is stated for the early Fridays or for August, so the size of the reduction cannot be measured from the company's own pages. The verifiable policy is a flexible start time within a hybrid model, with an unquantified early finish on Fridays and in August.
