What is RainTech?
RainTech is a managed IT and cybersecurity services provider (MSP/MSSP) based in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. Founded in 2001, the company delivers IT infrastructure management, cloud solutions, Microsoft 365 services, compliance support, business intelligence and a 24x7 support desk to organizations across healthcare, construction, nonprofit, private equity and education — with a particular specialism in Federally Qualified Health Centers and other regulated industries.
RainTech's ethos is "People, period" — a human-centric approach to technology services. In December 2025 the company announced a path to full employee ownership, putting the business in the hands of the team that runs it.
Where will I work?
RainTech is primarily an in-office team based at 3 S Tejon St in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, with some remote work opportunities available depending on the role. The support desk and engineering teams maintain 24x7 monitoring coverage through on-call rotations.
What is the RainTech team like?
RainTech is a close-knit team of around 37 people, including an eight-member service desk that averages 98% CSAT. The company values proactive communication, ownership of issues and a service-oriented mindset, and is moving toward full employee ownership.
Work-Life Balance
RainTech runs a 4-day, 32-hour work week at full pay. After a Q3 2025 pilot showed stronger team morale, higher client satisfaction and quicker ticket resolution, CEO Andrew Jahnke announced that "a condensed week will become the new standard at RainTech" — with no change to salaries or benefits. 24x7 monitoring continues via coverage models and on-call rotations.
On top of the shorter week, planned time off is unlimited, plus 48 hours of unplanned time off per year.
