Who We Are

After buying their first home, Tom and Annie (our Co-Founders) started their renovation journey. In a bid to save some cash, they knuckled down to transform a pile of reclaimed wooden planks into unique furniture pieces. They felt accomplished in their efforts and their guests were impressed, too. Result.

But what they struggled to get their hands on was affordable, design-led hardware that completed their creative projects.

Unwilling to settle for mediocre metalwork, the duo created Plank Hardware — for those of you who similarly won't compromise on your #InteriorGoals.

From our London HQ, we design stylish hardware products in high-quality materials, which we manufacture responsibly with our international supply chain partners. We then offer them to you for a pretty fair price (and with the friendliest of services).

Our Mission

We're on a mission to make beautiful, well-crafted hardware accessible to everyone pursuing their home renovation dreams. We believe that the finishing touches shouldn't break the bank or force you to compromise on style.

Working at Plank Hardware

Plank Hardware is based in Leyton, NE London. As it stands (May 2023), we ask our team to work in the office three days a week, with two days permitted for flexible home working. For team members on a four-day week, the split is two days in the office and two at home.

Our team of 22 creates a collaborative, creative environment where everyone's ideas are valued. We're small enough that you'll make a real impact, but established enough to offer stability and structure.
