What is PhantomBuster?
PhantomBuster is a web automation and data extraction SaaS built for real-time sales prospecting. Founded in 2016, the company has developed a toolbox of over 120 no-code automations — called Phantoms — that let sales and marketing teams extract publicly available data, enrich it with live profile data and intent signals, and use it to run personalised outreach at scale.
Thousands of companies use the platform to find qualified leads and connect with them. The engineering team is currently investing heavily in AI: keeping PhantomBuster's public API aligned with the MCP protocol so AI agents can interact with it reliably, and building the infrastructure that lets agentic AI workflows run safely against their codebase.
PhantomBuster is self-funded, profitable and product-led. Its legal entity, The Phantom Company, is a French SAS registered in Paris.

PhantomBuster is a remote-first company. In their own words: "We welcome applications from all over the EU, but prefer candidates in France, Spain or Portugal." The team also has an office in Bordeaux, and some roles are advertised as office-based there. What is the PhantomBuster team like?
A team of around 70 people, spanning Engineering, Platform, Product, Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations and People. They describe themselves as an international team that works smart and fast.
Their guiding principle is "Go, Mike, Go!" — "Mike" stands for every sales professional they serve, and every feature has to pass the Mike test: does it help him close deals, or just add noise to his day?
Engineering runs on TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL and Redis on AWS, with React on the frontend, and AI tooling is part of the daily workflow.
