Work-Life Balance
Onya Health joined Portugal's 2023 government 4-day-week pilot and then adopted the model permanently. It runs a rotating four-day week: the team alternates a normal 40-hour, five-day week with a 32-hour, four-day week (Fridays off), with no loss of income or benefits — using a "mirror" rota so half the team is in each Friday and client service continues. (In earlier summers the team had also taken Friday afternoons off in July and August.)
