What is moinAI?
moinAI is an AI chatbot platform for automating customer communication, developed by Hamburg-based knowhere GmbH. From the company's über-uns page: "Mit unserer KI-Chatbot-Lösung moinAI gestalten wir die Zukunft der Kundenkommunikation" (With our AI chatbot solution moinAI we are shaping the future of customer communication).
knowhere GmbH was founded in March 2015 as a virtual travel-planning app and pivoted to chatbots in 2016, building its first chatbot LEIF for the Dockville Festival. The agency phase included high-profile work with Jägermeister, Thomy, and Greenpeace before the platform was formally rebranded as moinAI in 2020. Florian Nommensen is CTO and Co-Geschäftsführer; Johannes Hehr is Chief Sales Officer; original founder Frederik Schröder withdrew from the operational/CEO role in 2023 but remains a shareholder.

Where will I work?
The office is in Hamburg's Karolinenviertel, where moinAI moved in 2021. The working pattern is hybrid by default, with full 100% remote also possible: "Arbeite von wo du magst" (work from wherever you like).
What is the moinAI team like?
31 team members work across Product/AI (Data Science), Customer Success, Marketing, Development, Sales, and Team/Accounting functions. The leadership team is German-rooted with a flat operational style. The team places events at the centre of culture: "Desk-Workout, Sommerfeste, After-Work-Events und vieles mehr veranstalten wir regelmäßig" (Desk workouts, summer parties, after-work events, and much more held regularly).
The hiring process is short and transparent — 4 to 5 steps: Typeform → first interview → meeting with additional team members → contract offer → welcome.
