About Malomo
Who we are
Malomo is an Indianapolis-headquartered, globally distributed ecommerce SaaS company founded by CEO Yaw Aning. The platform helps ecommerce brands transform the often-overlooked post-purchase moment into a branded engagement experience — replacing generic carrier tracking pages with on-brand tracking pages, transactional notifications, shipment analytics, and headless integrations across 200+ shipping carriers. Customers include ILIA Beauty, Caraway, Edikted, Soylent, Briogeo, PSD Underwear, Honeylove, Olipop, and Magic Spoon.
What we do
Malomo's platform has helped generate $450M+ in repeat revenue for its brands, with a 4.9 CSAT score and 5.0 rating on the Shopify App Store. The product has delivered an average 7× customer ROI through reduced support tickets, automated branded shipping notifications, and additional engagement revenue streams. In January 2026, Malomo announced it had been acquired by Redo — "Joining Redo is a force multiplier for what we're building" — with Redo committing to continue investing in Malomo's core product and team while expanding capabilities across returns, exchanges, and checkout.
Where will I work?
Malomo is remote-first and headquartered in Indianapolis. From the careers page: "Malomo is headquartered in Indianapolis but our team is globally distributed. Once a year, our team convenes in Indianapolis for a special gathering dedicated to team bonding."
What is the Malomo team like?
Malomo started its 4-day workweek as a six-month trial beginning 1 January 2022, after a successful September 2021 "Mental Health Month" pilot in which the team — given every Friday off — signed the most new customers, onboarded the most revenue, generated the most marketing leads, and hit a significant product milestone of the year. Founder & CEO Yaw Aning announced the trial on the company blog: "I believe we set records in September because we were hyper-focused on the most important things we needed to get done, and we had time to fully rest and reset for a new week."
The Malomo cadence: "no emailing or slacking on Fridays" for the full team, with limited on-call support coverage so customers still have a five-day response on critical issues. Aning confirmed the trial would "extend indefinitely."
