About Made Media

What is Made Media?

Made Media is a digital agency working at the intersection of digital technology and live experiences. The team is made up of designers, developers, producers, marketers and strategists working with some of the world's leading cultural, entertainment and experience-led brands. Founded in 2002, Made operates as two related legal entities: Made Media Ltd, registered in England & Wales (4530365, VAT 799 8932 29), and Made Media Inc, registered in Delaware — with day-to-day people based in Birmingham, Brooklyn and Bydgoszcz.

Clients are cultural institutions, performing-arts organisations, entertainment brands, and experience-led businesses where the digital product touches the live moment — ticketing, streaming, audience engagement, membership and on-site experience.

Where will I work?

Made is fully remote with teams in the UK and US. The careers page is explicit: "We're fully remote, with teams in the UK and US." Where geographic context matters, Made adjusts compensation: market adjustments of +20% for New York and San Francisco, +10% for London, Boston, Chicago, LA, Seattle, and DC, with a published national benchmark salary structure underneath. Open roles are listed with explicit salary ranges (a recent BD lead role was published at £48–54k / $84–94k OTE).

What is the Made team like?

The team is small enough to know everyone and big enough to staff multi-disciplinary delivery for cultural and entertainment brands worldwide. Made describes itself as "a group of technologists, marketers, designers and strategists working at the intersection of digital technology and live experiences," and keeps a roster of freelance designers, developers and strategists in addition to the full-time team.

Work-Life Balance

Made publishes a clear policy on flexibility: "We're happy to discuss part-time, condensed hours, or other arrangements." Time-off entitlements are tenure-based — 20 days vacation in the US (rising to 25 after 5 years) or 25 days in the UK (rising up to 30), plus localised public holidays, plus your birthday off if it falls on a weekday.

Perks and Benefits

From the Made careers page verbatim: 20 days vacation (US) or 25 days (UK) plus holidays, increases with tenure, birthday off if it falls on a weekday; US healthcare with Made paying 80% of employee premiums and 60% for dependents; UK healthcare cash plan; US 401(k) with employer matching; up to 6% UK pension matching; enhanced parental leave in both countries; allowances for home office setup or local coworking space; annual budget for arts and cultural attendance ("we think you should experience what our clients do"); part-time, condensed-hours or other arrangements all on the table; salary transparency with published ranges in every job listing and explicit geographic adjustments. Made's "Made Media Ltd · Registered in England & Wales: 4530365 / Made Media Inc · Registered in Delaware" dual structure means UK and US benefits packages can each be optimised for the local context.
