About Lemongrass
What is Lemongrass?
Lemongrass is a Bicester, Oxfordshire-based PR and Content agency focused exclusively on the travel sector. The company was formed almost 20 years ago "as a bolder, brighter and better solution to travel PR" and is en route to becoming the UK's first travel-communications B-Corp. Lemongrass partners with travel brands "that share this belief" in making travel meaningful — combining "traditional" and digital PR with data-driven audience and competitor insight. Customer relationships include Africa specialist andBeyond, whose COO Ryan Powell has thanked the team "for a phenomenal effort."
Where will I work?
The team works from the Perch Eco Business Centre, Charlotte Avenue, Bicester, Oxfordshire OX27 8BL — a state-of-the-art eco office. Lemongrass roles are anchored to this base, with travel and sector engagements taking the team into client destinations across "the world's most beautiful destinations."
What is the Lemongrass team like?
The culture is values-led and explicitly sustainability-focused. Four brand values guide every engagement: HUNGRY TO LEARN ("opening minds, growing as individuals, and expanding our horizons"), MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS ("symbiotic relationships, shared values and shared happiness"), FOR THE GREATER GOOD ("being meaningful, sustainable and authentic. We want to be a part of the solution"), and LEADING THE WAY ("carving a path, making change happen, and doing things differently"). Every team member is Certified Carbon Literate via the Carbon Literacy Project. The diversity statement in job descriptions is unusually direct: "studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification...we encourage you to apply anyway."
Work-Life Balance
Lemongrass works a permanent four-day week on full five-day pay — described by the company as "one of the biggest perks at Lemongrass." This is a structural choice, not a trial, and is paired with the agency's broader sustainability work: 5% of revenue donated in time to The Conscious Travel Foundation, partnership with carbon consultancy ecollective to reduce emissions, and a B Corp score of 96.2 (well above the 80-point threshold).
