What is LBMX?

LBMX is a software company in London, Ontario that builds technology for buying groups and purchasing co-operatives, the organizations through which independent businesses buy together. Its homepage describes "the only B2B Marketplace that connects independent businesses to the people they do business with in one easy connection", where "Independent business owners, suppliers, buying groups and GPOs all meet on LBMX to harness the power of real-time data, helping them buy better and sell more." Its products cover digital marketplaces, product information management (PIM), rebate and purchase analytics, central billing, B2B eCommerce and EDI services.

"Since 2000, we have provided unified software and services specially designed for buying groups to simplify and automate group operations," the about page says, with "over 10,000 vendors and suppliers connected into LBMX’s platform". The homepage adds that LBMX has "connected 40K+ independent businesses, their groups, and their suppliers". It also runs Accelerate, an annual executive summit for buying-group leaders, and LBMX Place, which "supports musicians, arts education, youth sports, and other community organizations through investment, awareness, volunteering, and partnerships."

Where will I work?

At LBMX's headquarters, 400 - 148 Fullarton Street in London, Ontario. Every current posting is based there, and four of them say "This is an on-site position at our London, Ontario, office." The careers page also lists a "Flexible work from home option", and new hires receive a "$500 new hire home office allowance". In October 2026 its BambooHR board lists 13 full-time openings: a director of people ($130,000–$140,000); managers of sales performance, sales enablement and revenue operations ($120,000–$150,000 each); an account manager for buying groups and a project manager for customer implementations ($100,000–$105,000 each); a customer success manager for buying groups ($85,000); a SaaS account executive ($60,000–$70,000), an inside-sales role "with potential for some travel to industry or group conferences"; a customer success specialist ($55,000–$60,000); a customer support analyst ($50,000–$55,000); a rebate and accounting specialist ($50,000–$60,000); and a marketing specialist and a solutions engineer, whose postings give no pay.

What is the LBMX team like?

Current openings sit in sales and marketing, customer experience, administration and the Advanced Solutions team, and staff get "Quarterly company wide outings (golf, baseball games, laser tag, tailgating etc.)".

Work-Life Balance

Every posting offers "Three weeks’ vacation and five personal days to start, plus additional paid LBMX holidays throughout the year" and "Flexible summer hours and a strong commitment to work-life balance". With Ontario's nine statutory holidays, that is 15 vacation days, 5 personal days and 9 public holidays, plus LBMX's own paid holidays (at least two): at least 31 days off from the first year. The careers page also lists "A healthy work/life balance" among its perks. Postings do not state weekly hours, and the roles are office-based.
