What is Keyrock?
Keyrock is a digital asset investment group headquartered in Brussels. Its Series C announcement describes it as "a neo investment group built for digital assets", founded in Brussels in 2017 and "Active across 85 centralized and decentralized venues worldwide", with a 220-strong team operating across 37 countries. The services on its website include market making, OTC trading, an options desk, onchain liquidity, ecosystem development, validator services and asset management; the home page says Keyrock "keeps digital asset markets liquid, efficient, and functional". Its disclaimer describes a business-to-business firm: it states "Keyrock is a B2B company and does not transact with, or provide any service to any retail investor or consumer", and its French entity is registered with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) as a Digital Assets Services Provider. In March 2026 it announced Series C funding led by SC Ventures, valuing the company at $1.1 billion.
Where will I work?
Keyrock describes itself as remote-first. The Senior Data Engineer advert says "Predominantly remote, we have hubs in London, Brussels, and Singapore", and the Rust Engineer advert refers to "a global, fully-remote team" while stating that the role is "open to candidates located in European time zones". The registered office is Avenue Louise 480 in Brussels, and the contact page also lists a UK entity at Chancery Lane in London and a French entity in Paris. Three of the four adverts that mention flexible hours are listed under Brussels and one, the Head of Risk role, under London. The six-month internships are described as "based in our Brussels office (London possible)", so they are office-based rather than remote.
What is the Keyrock team like?
The home page describes a team of 220+ people across 36 countries, "crypto and finance natives", "Tech builders and international compliance experts". The Series C release says the team operates across 37 countries with entities in Belgium, the UK, Switzerland, France and the U.S. Three values are named on the culture page: teamwork, ownership and passion. The co-founders hold the CEO, CTO and Chief Strategy roles, and the leadership section also lists a Chief Investment Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. Adverts describe a team with "42 nationalities" and backgrounds "ranging from self-taught DeFi natives to PhDs", and Keyrock says it performs "background checks on all potential employees" as a condition of joining, given the nature of its business. The Senior Data Engineer advert describes a "from-scratch mandate" for early hires in a Central Data Team that is only a few months old.
Work-Life Balance
Flexible working hours are stated as a benefit in the adverts of three different functions. The Rust Engineer and Senior Rust Engineer adverts offer "Autonomy in your time management thanks to flexible working hours and the opportunity to work remotely". The Senior Data Engineer advert lists "Autonomy on how you work. Flexible hours, remote-first, business-hours on-call shared across the team." The Head of Risk advert is more cautious: "Autonomy in your time management thanks to semi-flexible working hours". No core-hours window, weekly hours or leave allowance is published in the adverts, and the careers page itself does not list benefits, so the flexible-hours wording comes from the adverts only. Roles are described as remote or remote-first, which also supports flexibility about where you work.
