About Invoca
What is Invoca?
Invoca is an AI-powered revenue execution platform that, in the company's own words, "brings together marketing, commerce, and contact center teams to turn every customer interaction into measurable, profitable growth." By "revealing intent across voice, SMS, and digital channels, Invoca helps enterprises drive better customer experiences, increase revenue, and operate with confidence at scale." The company describes itself as "a fast-growing company defined by a strong product culture, deep technical ambition, and a commitment to building AI systems that are reliable, transparent, and outcome-driven." Headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, Invoca has scaled "beyond $100M in ARR" and raised $184M from investors including Upfront Ventures, Accel, Silver Lake Waterman, H.I.G. Growth Partners and Salesforce Ventures.
Where will I work?
Invoca is remote-first. Most roles are described as "a remote-first role," with U.S. hiring focused on the "Greater Los Angeles Area (including Santa Barbara and San Diego), SF Bay Area, Denver Metro, Austin Metro, Chicago Metro, and Greater NYC Area" — candidates "must be based within ~2 hour drive of these areas," and select AI/ML technical roles are also open in Toronto, Canada. A minority of positions are hybrid; for example, the Austin-based Sales Development team works "onsite 3x a week in Austin, TX." Invoca is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA.
What is the Invoca team like?
Invoca is built around four stated values. Employees ("Invocans") take pride in a "FIGURE IT OUT attitude that gives us the freedom to blaze our own trails, roll up our sleeves and get the job done," and are "obsessed with CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT … challenging the status quo every day." A desire to "LIGHT THE CUSTOMER'S WAY drives everything we do," and the team works to "HELP EACH OTHER THRIVE … to create an inclusive and egoless culture." Teams describe themselves as "collaborative" and "egoless," and Invoca supports employee resource groups including Minorities in Technology, Underrepresented Genders, and LGBTQ+ & Allies.
Work-Life Balance
Invoca says it encourages "a healthy work-life balance." Its time-off policy is flexible: "Our flexible paid time off policy allows you to recharge and take time away as needed," alongside "16 U.S. paid holidays, including a winter break." The company is Great Place to Work-Certified — its own careers blog notes Invoca has been "GPTW certified for the eighth year in a row," adding that "Invoca employee satisfaction outpaces employee satisfaction at a typical US company by 40%." Long-tenured staff also earn "InVacation," a bonus "after 7 years of service."
Perks and Benefits
"All new hires in the U.S. receive benefits starting on day one of employment." Health coverage includes "medical, dental, and vision coverage, with multiple plan options," and "Fertility assistance is also included." Invoca offers "a 401(k) plan through Fidelity with a company match of up to 4%," and "all employees are invited to share in Invoca's success through stock options." Parental and medical leave are generous: "Up to 12 weeks of 100% paid leave … for baby bonding, adoption, and caring for family members," plus "up to 12 weeks of 100% paid leave … for childbirth and medical needs." Well-being support comes via the "SpringHealth" mental-health program and a "Wellness Subsidy … toward gym memberships, fitness classes, and more."
