What is Holded?
Holded is a Barcelona software company that sells a cloud-based ERP and accounting platform to small businesses. Its About page says "It all started in 2016 when we decided to reinvent management software", describes the product as "an intuitive cloud-based ERP that's always evolving", and lists "900.000 SMBs already use Holded" and "€23 M Raised since the founding". The same page says the company continues its mission "thanks to our affiliation with Visma in June 2021", and the Visma Group name sits in the site footer. The careers page puts the mission in one line: "we create intuitive software to empower anyone who dares to start their own business". The legal entity is Holded Technologies SL, domiciled at Passeig Joan de Borbo 101 in Barcelona and registered in the Mercantile Register of Barcelona.
Where will I work?
The six live ads on the Recruitee board are all Barcelona roles, each marked Hybrid in the board listing. The office is at Paseo Juan de Borbón 101, 6th floor, and the careers page describes it as "Stunning sea views at our offices in sunny Barcelona. Next to the seaport of la Barceloneta close to the central area of the city." The phone-support and accounting-support ads say "Hybrid work model" and the backend ad says "Hybrid model", but five of the six ads state two office days a week in their application questions (four say "at least" two; the Product Data Analyst says "2 days per week in the office"), and only the backend ad gives no count. The ads are written in English. Four ask for a native Spanish speaker with fluent English, the RevOps ad wording it "Native Spanish (our AI agent and internal teams operate primarily in Spanish) and fluent English", while the Product Data Analyst ad asks for "Spanish (working proficiency), English (Intermediate)" and says the role is based in Barcelona. The careers page adds that Holded's talent comes from over 20 different countries.
What is the Holded team like?
The live roles cover sales operations, customer success, data and engineering: a RevOps Specialist with a primary focus on customer support, an Implementation Manager who owns onboarding for small-business clients, a Product Data Analyst working in dbt, two accounting customer-support specialists (one on the phone) and a Senior Backend Developer for the Projects and CRM products. The RevOps ad says the support organisation is "60+ people across 4 teams, handling 50,000+ conversations a month". Several ads describe the culture as "self-sufficient, autonomous teams" that are like "start-ups within a start-up that learn from each other", and the careers page says "We have a horizontal system, a real one." It lists six values: Excellence, Passion, Ambition, Commitment, Innovation and Transparency.
Work-Life Balance
The careers page lists "Flexible working hours", "26 paid days-off" and "Short work day on Fridays" under Perks and benefits. Three of the six live ads (the RevOps Specialist in Sales, the Implementation Manager in Customer Success and the Senior Backend Developer in Tech) repeat "Flexible working hours", and all six list a short Friday, written as "Short work-day on Fridays" or "Short workday on Fridays". No core hours, start or finish times, or length of the short Friday are stated, and five of the six ads say in their application questions that the hybrid model means at least two office days a week (the backend ad gives no count). Leave is "26 paid days-off" on the careers page and in two ads, and "26 paid vacation days" in three more ads (the backend ad gives no figure); whether public holidays come on top is not stated.
