About Happy
Who We Are
Originally established as Happy Computers by founder Henry Stewart, Happy was created with a revolutionary mission: to make learning about IT an enjoyable experience and to discover how to create a truly great place to work. The company quickly developed an outstanding reputation, earning recognition as one of the UK's top five workplaces for five successive years.
Building on this success, Happy expanded its vision in 2003 by developing a comprehensive range of management and leadership programmes. This evolution allowed the company to share Happy's distinctive management style and philosophy with organizations across the UK and beyond, helping them transform their own workplace cultures.
At the heart of everything we do is a measurable commitment: ensuring that all staff find joy in at least 80% of their work. Yes, we actually measure it! This isn't just a feel-good statement—it's a concrete goal that drives our daily decisions and workplace practices.

Our Hiring Philosophy
Happy follows one guiding principle: 'Hire for attitude, train for skill.' It really is that simple.
We actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. While experience and qualifications can contribute to a fantastic attitude, we know you don't need either to be the kind of person we're looking for. Some of our most successful team members don't have degrees—including our Managing Director, Cathy Busani. What matters most is your mindset, your values, and your desire to grow.
If you're someone who believes work should be joyful, who values trust over micromanagement, and who wants to be part of a company that practices what it preaches about creating great workplaces, Happy might be the perfect place for you.
