About Gidget Foundation Australia
Who We Are
Gidget Foundation Australia is a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of expectant and new parents across Australia. Established in 2001 in memory of Gidget, a vibrant young mother who tragically took her own life while suffering from postnatal depression, the Foundation has grown into a vital national resource for perinatal mental health care. Based in North Sydney, NSW, we operate nationwide with a team of 59 dedicated professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of families during one of life's most significant transitions.
