What is Fourvenues?
Fourvenues is a Valencia-based software company founded in 2018 that sells a venue-management platform to nightlife and leisure businesses. Its ads describe "a tech platform born from within the entertainment industry" that brings together "online ticket sales, guest list management, VIP reservations, a fully integrated POS system for the bar and box office, real-time capacity tracking, and a built-in CRM to truly understand your audience". The company also runs Fun Business Days, which an ad calls "the nightlife industry congress we run in Valencia: 3,000 attendees, 4 stages, 40 stands and 50 speakers". Deal tracker Nordic9 reports a €6.5 million equity round on 16 May 2023 led by Base10 Capital with Angels Capital, ZBG, FJ Labs and angel investors in Spain. LinkedIn lists 51-200 employees and locations in Valencia, Miami, Amsterdam, London, Dubai and New York.
Where will I work?
LinkedIn gives the main office as Avenida Pio XII 60, 2B in Valencia, and the Personio board lists several of the Spanish roles as Valencia or Madrid. The six ads that state the hours policy are all Spanish roles and describe a hybrid model: "Hybrid work model (3+2): three days in the office and two from home if that’s where you feel most productive". Two of the ads say "one from home" instead of two, so the exact split is not consistent. The ads are in English, with full professional English (C1) asked of the interns and fluent English of the senior account executive. Fourvenues also lists remote sales roles for Italy and New York and a Miami role; those ads use different wording and are not part of this profile.
What is the Fourvenues team like?
The six ads span marketing internships (content, event production, and event sales and delegate relations), two product manager roles (legal, compliance and invoicing, and eCommerce B2B2C) and a Senior Account Executive for Spain. The senior sales ad says the role will "work closely with Account Management, Onboarding, Marketing and our Product team in Spain" and asks for comfort with "occasional evenings and weekends at venues and events". The Event Production Intern ad asks for weekend availability in the three weeks before the congress. The ads promise "A vision and team that will inspire you to excel and reach the next level in your career development" and "regular internal training". The Personio board greets candidates with "Join the market leader Saas for the Nightlife Industry, enjoy the dance!".
Work-Life Balance
Six of the 12 live ads, covering marketing, product and sales roles in Spain, say: "Flexible working hours. Organize your workday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, as long as you meet scheduled commitments." No core hours are stated; the 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM span is the whole window in which the day can be placed. The same ads list "Extra vacation days for special occasions like birthdays, holidays, or unique events" but do not give an annual leave day count. Office time is three days a week under the hybrid model, and the sales and event roles add some evening or weekend work around events.
