What is Flanks?
Flanks is a Barcelona-founded wealthtech company: "Flanks is a wealthtech company building the data infrastructure behind wealth advisory at scale." Banks, family offices, wealth managers, asset managers, pension providers and fintechs use its platform to pull their clients' portfolio data from many custodians into one place, and the home page says it connects to "700+ custodians worldwide". The about page says Flanks was "Founded in Barcelona in 2019 by Joaquim de la Cruz, Sergi Lao and Álvaro Morales (former Global Head of Santander Private Banking)", that it processes more than 8.2 million portfolios every month across 33+ countries, and that it is "an AISP regulated by the Bank of Spain". Its timeline lists a Series A in 2023 and an equity round in 2025, and the adverts say "Backed by €23 million in investment".
Where will I work?
The registered office is at Carrer de Tarragona, 157, planta 16, Barcelona, which the adverts describe as "A cool office between Sants Estació and Plaça Espanya with stunning views of Barcelona". The careers page lists four offices (Barcelona as HQ, Madrid, Paris and London). On 6 November 2026 the Teamtailor board listed 5 adverts: four in the Barcelona office (FP&A Specialist, Financial Customer Support Intern, Backend Software Engineer, Financial Analyst Intern) and one in London (Account Executive UK Market, based "within commuting distance of London" with "our Paddington office 2 days a week"). The careers page puts it as "2 days" a week from home for the team; the London advert reverses the split, with two office days. Two roles ask for English and Spanish ("Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish"), the support intern role asks for fluent Spanish, and the analyst intern role needs fluent English.
What is the Flanks team like?
The careers page counts "+ 100" team members, 22 nationalities, 4 offices and 208 years of combined banking and wealth experience. The three values in every advert are People First, Keep Growing and "Think Twice, Act Once". The careers page adds that "Every joiner gets a buddy", that "The whole team meets at the Flanks Summit" every year, that priorities are shared at a monthly all-hands, and that "Every Flanker has Claude and Gemini from day one." Two of the five open roles are internships (Financial Customer Support Intern and Financial Analyst Intern), and the others are finance, engineering and sales roles. The hiring process in the Barcelona adverts is a chat with the People Business Partner, a meeting with the hiring lead, a technical test or discussion and an offer (the London advert has no technical step and adds a final interview with the COO), "ideally wrapping things up in one to four weeks".
Work-Life Balance
"Flexible working hours and hybrid work options." appears in the benefits list of all five adverts, across four functions (Finance, Tech, Revenue and Product): four in Barcelona and one in London, where it reads "Flexible working hours and hybrid work 2 days a week in our London office". The company-wide careers page repeats it as "2 days" followed by "A week from home, with flexible hours to fit your life". No core hours, weekly hours or office days for Barcelona are published, so ask in the interview. The adverts also list a "Paid day off on your birthday", and the Friday happy hours after the all-hands are "totally optional, of course!". The adverts state no annual-leave figure.
