About Everglow
What is Everglow?
Everglow is a creative impact studio in Cardiff Bay that helps "organisations create a brighter future for people and the planet". It blends human understanding, strategy, storytelling and design into brands, campaigns and digital experiences, with services spanning branding, campaigns, research and co-design, copywriting, websites, and video and motion. Clients range from public-sector teams and global charities to social enterprises and local non-profits: the studio has worked on national campaigns to end knife crime with South Wales Police and the Violence Prevention Unit, helped launch Wales' first Women's Health Plan for the NHS, brought the voices of more than 10,000 people to COP26, branded the first B Corp Festival and created the #NameOurShip campaign that gave the world Boaty McBoatface. It began in 2008, when a few friends "fresh out of university" started a creative agency called Blue Stag; it became Everglow in September 2025.
Where will I work?
At the studio in Cardiff Bay, from home, or a mix of the two. Everglow offers "hybrid and flexible working - freedom to work from home or join us in the studio", with an allowance for setting up a home workspace. There are no open roles at the moment; the careers page invites people to sign up for careers updates instead.
What is the Everglow team like?
A small, senior team of designers, developers, copywriters, strategists, marketers and producers. Its values are to be "ever purposeful, ever bold, ever curious, ever impactful and ever together", and Everglow is a certified B Corp, a member of the UN Global Compact Network UK and a Clean Creatives signatory. Decision-making has been handed to the team "to help shape the work we do and where we put our energy". Side projects include Glow for Good, which gives creative and digital support to small organisations, and The Takeaway, which gives young people experience on real projects. In 2022 Creative Boom named the studio, then Blue Stag, one of the 15 best places in the UK for graphic designers to work.
Work-Life Balance
Everglow moved to a four-day working week in September 2025, at the same pay. "This isn't about cramming five days into four," its creative director wrote when the pilot began. "It's about working smarter, giving the team more balance, and bringing fresher energy to the work that really matters. And yes, it's the same pay." The careers page now lists the "4-day working week - full-time pay, fewer hours, more balance" first among its benefits, and the studio describes itself as "a creative impact studio with a 4-day working week".
