About EUROWAG
What is EUROWAG?
EUROWAG is a Czech-founded provider of payments, fuel, toll and fleet services for road transport. Its own site calls it a "Leading provider of Integrated mobility and payment solutions powering European transport." The product range starts with the fuel card: "Fuel cards One card for fuel, tolls, parking, tunnels and ferries across Europe." It extends to toll services, fleet management and telematics, VAT and excise refunds and financial services. The careers page counts "~2,000 employees", "30+ nationalities" and "25 European countries of operation". The investor site says the company was "Founded in the Czech Republic in 1995 by CEO Martin Vohánka", and its history page notes "Eurowag Group plc listed on the London Stock Exchange." The footer names the operating company: "W.A.G. payment solutions, a.s. is registered in the Commercial Register under file No. B 6882 at the Municipal Court in Prague, Czech Republic".
Where will I work?
The contact page lists the headquarters as W.A.G. payment solutions, a.s., with its registered office at Na Vítězné pláni 1719/4, 140 00 Praha 4, the same address the footer gives for its licensed subsidiary W.A.G. Issuing Services, a.s. The 22 adverts we read on 6 November 2026 are located in Prague (11), Bratislava (3), Olomouc (2), Warsaw (2), Fót in Hungary, Sofia, Bucharest and Slovenia. Most adverts offer "the option to work from home" without setting a number of days. The exceptions are the Hungarian advert, which says "Hybrid working in our office, flexible working hours", and the Slovenian customer-care advert, which asks for "Min. 3 days working from the local office". The Prague adverts describe the office: "Our office is pet- and kid-friendly, has no dress code, and offers a discounted on-site restaurant".
What is the EUROWAG team like?
The adverts span Commercial, Technology, Product, Finance and the Energy business unit. The careers page describes the mix as "from building digital platforms in technology and product, to driving Commercial growth, supporting Operations, and enabling the business through Finance, Corporate functions and Customer Support." It lists four values: "Be a good person", "Be a true colleague", "Deliver your best" and "Embrace change". English is the shared language: "Because we work in an international environment, English is important for collaboration across teams." The Slovak adverts publish a pay floor, for example "Min. 5000 EUR gross /a month" for the Engineering Manager role, and say the final salary depends on seniority. Some roles are field-facing, such as the sales adverts in Olomouc, which ask for travel and a driving licence, one of them mentioning a company car, so read each advert for its working pattern.
Work-Life Balance
Fifteen English adverts carry the same benefits line: "Enjoy flexible hours, the option to work from home". They span five functions: Commercial, Technology, Product, Finance and the Energy business unit. The Hungarian advert lists "Hybrid working in our office, flexible working hours", and a Czech-language sales advert says "Flexibilní pracovní doba s možností pravidelné práce z domova" (flexible working hours with the possibility of regular work from home). In all, 17 of the 22 adverts state the wording: 12 in Czechia, 3 in Slovakia, 1 in Hungary and 1 in Slovenia. The careers page adds only a general line: "We offer flexible working arrangements, but this may vary depending on the position and location." No core-hours window or required overlap is stated. Leave is described as "5 weeks of vacation" in the Czech and Slovenian adverts, "25 days of annual paid holidays instead of 20" in Hungary and "5 extra vacation days beyond the legal minimum" in Slovakia, plus 3 health days a year and a Founder's Day off.
