About Eidos Montreal
Who We Are
Eidos-Montréal is a Montreal-area games studio with a track record across some of the biggest single-player action and stealth franchises of the past decade. Operating under the Eidos Interactive Corporation group of companies, the studio led the critically acclaimed reboot of the DEUS EX series (Human Revolution, Mankind Divided), worked on the latest THIEF release, and played a key role in the TOMB RAIDER series (Shadow of the Tomb Raider). The studio has been honoured as one of GamesIndustry's "Best Places to Work 2023 in Canada" and a "Montreal''s Top Employers 2023".
What We Do
Beyond shipping its own titles, Eidos-Montréal is a multi-discipline studio — programming, QA testing, IT, marketing, art, VFX — and serves as a technical hub for the wider Eidos group, including R&D, quality assurance and playtests. Recent and current work includes Marvel''s Guardians of the Galaxy, GROUNDED 2 and THIEF VR: Legacy of Shadow. The studio is led by General Manager Patrice Baig, whose appointment was framed by the studio as "a commitment to continuity and collaborative leadership as the studio continues to evolve in a changing industry."
Where Will I Work?
The studio is based in the Montreal area. Eidos describes the city as "a cosmopolitan, multicultural, and bilingual city … at the crossroads of North American and European influences." For team members based abroad, the studio offers a relocation package covering both the move to Canada and the administrative process. Day-to-day, Eidos's Flex Program is a permanent policy that "allows you to work in an environment that meets your needs: at home or at the studio."
What is the Eidos-Montréal Team Like?
Career development is built into the studio's day-to-day: every employee has access to internal master classes, a structured training plan and annual support to set development goals. The studio also operates a sister training program with the AEC Video Game Testing Program at the Séminaire de Sherbrooke, supervised by Eidos's QA Director (Production) and Development QA Leads.
