About Dateio
What is Dateio?
Dateio is a Prague fintech company that works with payment data. Its website calls it the "Largest European card-linked marketing and transaction enrichment ecosystem" and says it is "Trusted by 90+ global banks and fintechs" with "13+ years in payment data industry". It sells two products: Dateio Platform, a "Card-linked marketing platform" in which banks reward customers with cashback for card spending at merchants, and Tapix, a "Transaction data enrichment api". One advert gives a familiar example: "If Rewards from Air Bank or Moneyback from Česká spořitelna sound familiar to you, then that's us." The About page says "Dateio was founded in 2013, back when Ondrej Knot and Ivan Dovica decided to end their consultancy career", and the Tapix site counts "180+ experts in-house".
Where will I work?
The contact page lists the headquarters at Za Ženskými domovy 1, 150 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic. The company's career profile says "V roce 2025 jsme se přestěhovali do nových kanceláří Na Knížecí Office" (English: in 2025 we moved to the new Na Knížecí Office), and the adverts describe an "Office in Anděl, Prague (with terrace, shower and bike room)". Work from home is occasional rather than the default: the English adverts say "Flexible working hours and occasional work from home are a given", and five of the seven Czech adverts add that you should not look for full-remote work ("ale full remote práci u nás nehledej", English: but do not look for full-remote work here). The career profile adds "I když můžeme být na home officu, chodíme sem rádi" (English: even though we can be on home office, we like coming here). Dateio also lists offices in Bratislava, Budapest and Bucharest with street addresses, plus contact e-mail addresses for Croatia, Austria, Germany and Italy. Two part-time data roles for Serbian and Ukrainian speakers are fully remote.
What is the Dateio team like?
The Czech adverts describe a team that "si cení otevřené komunikace, týmové práce i zodpovědnosti za výsledek" (English: values open communication, teamwork and responsibility for results), and the career profile says the team is "mix velmi seniorních vývojářů, datových vědců, ale i mladých lidí na startu kariéry" (English: a mix of very senior developers, data scientists and young people at the start of their careers). The Head of Sales advert describes leading "mezinárodní tým 13 Sales Reps ze 7 zemí" (English: an international team of 13 sales reps from 7 countries), and the revenue operations advert says its processes "will be used by Sales teams across seven countries". On 6 November 2026 the open roles covered sales leadership, account management, business development for the DACH region and North America, marketing, revenue operations, data delivery, finance and product management. Hiring is described as quick: applications are read by hand, followed by a 30-minute introductory call, an interview of about an hour, a second round in the Prague office, reference checks and an offer.
Work-Life Balance
Twelve live adverts (and a standing application page) state the hours as something Dateio offers. The English adverts say "Flexible working hours and occasional work from home are a given." and the Czech adverts say "Flexibilní pracovní dobu a občasnou práci z domu" (English: flexible working hours and occasional work from home). The two part-time remote roles list "Flexible working hours" as well. No core hours are published. The English adverts state "25 days of vacation, 3 sick days", and the Strategic Account Manager advert gives 4 sick days. Office life is described as relaxed: the Czech adverts mention "ranní jóga a šipky v kanceláři" (English: morning yoga and darts in the office), and the English adverts say "Pet-friendly office - Your canine companion can come with you."
