The About page says "Commencis drives AI-powered digital transformation for enterprises. With more than 450 experts, we specialize in design, engineering, and cloud to build scalable, high-performance digital products." The adverts add that "Our products and solutions are used by leading brands in financial services, insurance, airlines and retail in more than 20 countries." The company is an AWS partner: "Commencis, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Tier Partner, has extensive expertise and a proven track record in helping customers build, migrate, and manage their workloads and applications on AWS." The leadership page says CEO Fırat İşbecer "left Monitise and founded Commencis in 2018", while the marketing copy cites "more than two decades of expertise", so the company's age depends on which page you read.
Where will I work?
All four live adverts on 6 November 2026 are in Istanbul, Turkey. The company's terms of use give its address as "located at Reşitpaşa, İTÜ Teknokent ARI 3, 34467 Sarıyer/İstanbul", and the About page also shows offices in Ankara, Izmir, Berlin and London. The adverts promise "flexible working hours including remote working option" and "work-from home support", yet they also mention "refreshments in the office", so expect a mix of office and remote work; the number of office days is not stated.
What is the Commencis team like?
The careers page lists five values: "We are a team of integrity.", "We are one step ahead.", "We take ownership.", "We strive to be the best." and "We are one community." The adverts describe "a flat organizational structure with a culture of direct and open communication" and "a tight-knit community that loves gathering", with "happy hours, workshops, new year party, breakfast & lunch get-togethers, movie nights, and our Summer Festival". The Commencis Tech Academy "brings together our internship and training programs, providing university students with hands-on experience". The current openings are a Senior Project Manager for the PMO team (Russian and English required), a Senior Sales & Account Manager in Client Delivery, and a Cloud Sales Intern; a free six-week online Cloud Camp for students is also listed on the board, but it is a training programme, not a job. Work-Life Balance
Every live advert carries the same line: "Happier Weekdays: We offer flexible working hours including remote working option. Online events, guest speakers, refreshments in the office, meeting-light culture, and many more to enjoy the weekdays." The careers page repeats it at company level: "Guest speakers, refreshments, flexible working hours, meeting-light culture (or at least we try), and many more to enjoy weekdays. But we don't stay late at the office." No core hours, start or finish times or weekly-hours figure are published, so the exact schedule is for you to confirm with the team. The internship advert asks students to be "Available to work at least 3 days per week for a minimum of 3 months", and the project manager advert asks for the "Ability to work well under pressure".
