About Climate Policy Radar

What is Climate Policy Radar?

Climate Policy Radar is a London-based non-profit Community Interest Company on a mission to organise, analyse and democratise the world's law and policy data. The organisation builds open databases and research tools that help governments, researchers, international organisations, civil society, and the private sector to understand and advance effective climate policies and deploy climate finance. Harnessing data science and AI, and pioneering natural language processing applied to climate, nature, and development law, the team renders previously unstructured, siloed documents readable and accessible.

Climate Policy Radar was incorporated as a CIC in May 2021. The first prototype was presented at COP26 in Glasgow that November. Since then, the team has integrated with climate-laws.org (November 2022), launched the Global Stocktake Explorer at Bonn (June 2023), and in September 2025 worked with the Sabin Centre for Climate Change Law to relaunch the Climate Litigation Database, doubling the documents on the platform to 30,000. From June 2025, Climate Policy Radar also hosts the secretariat for Transition Digital.

Where will I work?

The team is based at Techspace, 140 Goswell Road, London EC1V 7DY, with additional presence in London's County Hall Building — the city's leading climate tech hub. The hybrid policy gives staff access to colleagues, partners, and the broader climate-and-data community in person, while leaving flexibility for focused individual work.

What is the Climate Policy Radar team like?

Climate Policy Radar's culture is anchored by seven values: Moonshot intention (meaningful change for people and the planet), Excellence (high standards across research, ops, and stakeholder engagement), Truth seeking (honesty, integrity, avoiding bias), Transparency and openness (making data and analyses available, leading in open-sourcing climate data), Learning and experimenting (evidence-based decision-making, interrogating mistakes openly), Emotional intelligence (intelligent and empathic communication), and Bridge building and collaboration (a "radical collaboration" approach where other organisations are allies, not competitors). The team includes researchers, data scientists, ML/NLP engineers, product managers, and policy specialists with deep climate expertise.

Work-Life Balance
