About CIM
Who We Are
CIM (CIM Industrial Systems A/S, DK24210022) is a pharma-manufacturing software company headquartered in Viby, Denmark. We make software for vision inspection, digital compliance and data insights that produces data-based evidence and removes QA-related delays in pharma manufacturing.
The company was founded in 1998 by software engineers Niels Sørensen, Ole Thomsen and Allan Henneberg, drawing on their experience with software, data collection and test solutions from Bang & Olufsen and Grundfos. Per Clausen joined in 2000 and founded CIM Electronics A/S. In 2017, Michel Seidelin joined as CEO and the two companies CIM Electronics and CIM Industrial Systems merged into CIM.AS. CIM joined XANO Industri AB (Nasdaq Stockholm listed) in 2021, providing long-term backing while CIM continues to operate as an independent business.
Our software powers manufacturing for pharma companies, medical device manufacturers and machine manufacturers. We work in three main domains: Machine Vision (pre-validated, configurable vision platform powered by machine learning and deep learning); GxP Compliance (audit-ready pharmaceutical manufacturing without manual logging and endless PDFs); and Data Insights (connectivity, data collection, storage, visualization and decision support — all in a GxP-validated platform). Notable customers include Maersk (IoT system reducing CO2 emissions) and Stevanato Group.
Where will I work?
We are based in Viby (Skanderborgvej 277), with the CIM Vision Lab in Aarhus (opened 2011 with the T&O Stelectric acquisition). Our team operates in a hybrid arrangement.

Our quality and environmental management system is certified by Bureau Veritas (ISO 9001 + ISO 14001), and we achieved ISO 27001 certification in 2025. We were awarded an EcoVadis Gold medal in 2025, placing us in the top 5% for sustainability. Our offices have run on 100% green electricity since 2020 (and 70% renewable heating).

This translates into individual flexibility around hours, locations, and schedule — including the option for a 4-day work week, evening hours, or working from home, per arrangement with managers.
Once a year, we go away together for a couple of days, alternating between skiing in the winter and exploring breathtaking landscapes in the summer. Destinations have included Italy, France, Austria and Morocco in recent years. We also do one-day getaways in Denmark from time to time.
