About Chayn
What is Chayn?
Chayn is a global nonprofit (UK charity no. 1196098, founded in 2013) that creates free, trauma-informed digital resources and tools for survivors of gender-based violence — multilingual guides, online safety resources and Bloom, its online healing platform. Much of the team's work is shaped by survivors themselves.
Where will I work?
Anywhere — Chayn operates remotely from all over the world, with a globally distributed team of full-time and part-time staff, contractors and volunteers.
What is the Chayn team like?
A core team of 11, with up to 10 supporting contractors and a community of contributing volunteers — small, survivor-centred and global.

Chayn works a four-day week at no loss of pay, accredited at Gold standard by the 4 Day Week Foundation in July 2026 — the Foundation's permanent-policy tier.
