CHANI (Chani Nicholas Inc.) is a queer, feminist-led tech and media company on a mission to make astrology — and its wisdom — accessible to everyone. Founded by renowned astrologer Chani Nicholas, the company combines ancient wisdom with modern technology through the CHANI app, daily horoscopes, the Astro Hub, workshops, and courses. Recent product expansion includes Astro 101 introductory content, the 2026 Astro Planner, and the 2026 AstroCal.
The company has rebranded its primary domain from chaninicholas.com to chani.com, reflecting the broader CHANI brand. Content spans daily horoscopes, podcasts ("Astrology of the Week Ahead," "Ask Chani Anything"), and educational tools — designed for both newcomers and seasoned astrology practitioners alike.
Where will I work?
CHANI offers a flexible work-from-home policy. The team is US-based with occasional travel; the company has historical roots in Los Angeles. Open roles (currently a Senior Astrology Writer) explicitly encourage applications from "folks who are queer, trans, non-binary, Black, Indigenous, people of color, disabled, parents, immigrants; are/have been system impacted; and/or have experienced systemic oppression or gender-based violence."
