British Red Cross
The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
Who we are
The British Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian network, working to support people in crisis both in the UK and around the world. With over 150 years of history, we are dedicated to helping individuals overcome crises, whether it's a natural disaster, conflict, or personal emergency. We work closely with communities to build resilience and ensure they are better prepared to face future challenges.
What we do
Our services are wide-ranging, covering emergency response, health and social care, and support for refugees and asylum seekers. We provide first aid training, disaster response, and recovery efforts, as well as long-term community support. Our international work includes disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, often in partnership with other Red Cross and Red Crescent societies.
