Salary: £28,382- £30,464  Per Annum - Plus Inner London Weighting of £3,344 if applicable

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Permanent

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a training professional to join our Red Cross Training team as a Performance Coach Manager. This role forms part of the London management team structure; it's focus is to develop and coach trainers in an environment that embraces continuous improvement, teamwork, and high levels of training competence. The role holder will also act as an assessor for the training team to support learners to complete the Pearson qualification.

What does a day in the life of a Performance Coach Manager look like?

This is a hands-on role, working within a dynamic training environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate well-developed organisational skills to manage a varied workload. They will have a proactive approach to problem solving and display resilience in the face of challenges. There will be close liaison across the management team; so the successful applicant will possess strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels.

We've been delivering first aid at work courses for more than 30 years and have over 170 trainers throughout the UK, Not only do our courses provide people with life-saving knowledge and skills; after costs have been deducted, every penny made goes to support the work of the British Red Cross.

What does it take to be a successful Performance Coach Manager?

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience of training delivery and who has a sound knowledge of coaching techniques. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of delivering First Aid training.

  • Current Holder of the Award in Education & Training (or equivalent qualification).
  • Willingness to work toward the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (currently holding this qualification would be an advantage).
  • Able to motivate individuals and teams; to develop people and drive strong performance by setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Good general level of IT competency; proficient using MS Office suite and database software.
