About Brilliant Agency
What is Brilliant Agency?
Brilliant Agency is a Leeds-based social-first creative agency specialising in food and drink brands, from household names to start-up ventures. Now part of global creative marketing group Brand Revolution following an acquisition announced via the company's own blog, Brilliant continues to operate as a distinct brand — Managing Director Mike Davis describes the deal as bringing "greater strategic breadth for our clients and broader opportunities for our team as part of the larger international group."
Founded over a decade ago and registered in England & Wales (Company No. 08012533), Brilliant has built portfolio work for brands including Fox's Biscuits, Thorntons, SPAM®, SKIPPY® Peanut Butter, Hacien Tequila, Lyle's Golden Syrup, and Tate. The agency's services span social media, content creation, brand strategy & design, and influencer marketing — with the creative team supported by an in-house photography studio "with a built-in kitchen" tailored to food-and-drink shoot work.
Where will I work?
Brilliant is based in Leeds, England, with the team working in a hybrid model that combines office days with working-from-home flexibility built in. The agency operates as a small studio — eleven named team members are listed on the public Team page covering account management, creative, social, design, photography, and senior leadership functions.
What is the Brilliant team like?
The agency lives by four core values verbatim from its careers page: "Be Clear" (clear and transparent communication), "Be Creative" (resourcefulness across the entire team, not just the creative function), "Be Collaborative" (relationships that bring out the best in everyone), and "Make It Brilliant" (extending the agency's standard for client work into how the team supports each other). The eleven-strong team spans Studio Director Lynne Ella, Managing Director Mike, Senior Creative Director Laurra, plus copy, photography, social media, design, and content roles. Across the site, three pillars summarise the proposition: Clarity, Collaboration, and Creativity.
Work-Life Balance
Brilliant's careers page describes a culture built around "fantastic conditions" for the team — investing in space, resources, and training so people can be "their optimum selves." Every team member receives an additional day of leave for their birthday on top of the standard allowance, and the agency-wide flexibility framework lets staff blend office and home working.
