What is Bloq.it?
Bloq.it is a Lisbon-headquartered company that builds smart parcel-locker networks: the lockers themselves, the software that runs them and the field services that deploy and maintain them, for carriers and retailers. Its ads describe it as "the infrastructure layer for how Europe receives deliveries" and say it has "scaled past €100M in revenue across 9 countries in under four years". The About page dates its start to 2019 ("Bloq.it is founded and launches own storage locker network in Portugal"), says it pivoted after Covid-19 hit to "an OOH Smart Locker solution", and lists "10648 Active lockers" and "101 M+ Transactions". It names DHL eCommerce, GLS, Vinted Go, Evri and DeinFach among its customer stories, and in 2024 it launched NEXT, a battery-powered autonomous locker. The website is owned by BLOQSTRX, S.A, a Portuguese public limited company with its registered office in Parque das Nações, Lisbon.
Where will I work?
The About page says "Headquartered in Lisbon, you can also find Bloq.it offices in Porto, France, and Croatia." On 6 November 2026 the Teamtailor board listed 20 ads. Fifteen are in Portugal (Lisbon and Porto): thirteen corporate roles and two Portuguese-language frontline ads in Porto, a warehouse operator and a reverse-logistics technician. The other five are Senior Account Executive roles for Germany, Italy, Spain, France and the UK, which say "Based remotely in Germany" (or the other country) and "frequent travel to client sites across the country". The corporate ads promise a "remote-friendly policy", the careers page tags its openings Hybrid and Remote, and one team member there singles out "Monthly in-person meetings". No office-day count is stated. The corporate ads are written in English and ask for local-market language and English where the role is customer-facing.
What is the Bloq.it team like?
The About page says "a team of 300+ bloqstars from 11 different countries, speaking 8 languages". The careers page lists three values, "OWN IT", "NEVER SETTLE" and "BUILD YOUR LEGACY", and a Legal Counsel there says "The best thing about working at Bloq.it is the environment and the spirit of mutual support among the different teams, along with the opportunity for growth." The corporate ads cover enterprise sales, quality assurance, operations strategy, accounts receivable, full-stack, computer-vision and embedded engineering, financial control and FP&A, technical success, marketing and delivery management. They promise "A dynamic and fast-paced work environment with a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning", and several are candid about the pace, for example "Fair warning: we're scaling fast and the data and reporting capabilities are scaling with us."
Work-Life Balance
Seventeen of the 20 live ads, across eight functions and six countries, say under "Why join us?": "Work how you work best - we offer a remote-friendly policy and flexible hours so you can stay productive and keep life balanced". The Portuguese warehouse ad says the same in Portuguese, but it is a frontline role and is not counted. Eight of the Portugal corporate ads add "Unlimited days off (subject to manager approval)". No core hours, start or finish times, weekly hours or office-day count are stated, so the flexibility is described but not defined.
