Who We Are

We are an online literacy and English curriculum platform serving schools across the UK. Founded by experienced English teachers who understood the challenges of teaching literacy at scale, we've built a comprehensive learning platform that harnesses the power of adaptive technology to improve literacy outcomes for learners from years 3 through 13 (ages 8-18).

Our teacher-founded roots mean we deeply understand the classroom experience. We've created a time-saving, self-marking, ready-made curriculum that supports both schools and parents in developing strong literacy foundations for every learner.

What We Do

There is a direct, proven link between a learner's vocabulary size and their overall academic progress. Unfortunately, vocabulary gaps tend to widen as learners progress through school. These gaps often begin very early in a child's life and are compounded by limited access to reading materials and rich language environments.

Researchers, academics, teachers, and politicians are now in agreement - we must do more to ensure that social disadvantage does not become educational disadvantage. Literacy is the great leveller, providing every child with the tools they need to succeed regardless of their background.

Our suite of learning products addresses this challenge head-on. We've grown significantly since our inception, and our development roadmap is ambitious and disruptive. We're currently developing a range of innovative learning tools and data analysis products that will further empower educators and support learners in closing the vocabulary gap.
