About Auvaria
What is Auvaria?
Auvaria is an AWS consulting and engineering partner helping clients modernize and migrate their workloads to the cloud — pragmatically, securely and at scale. Founded in 2021 by Andreas Tschauner and Daniel Linhart in Vienna, the company has become a recognised AWS specialist across the DACH region, achieving AWS Partner of the Year in Austria (2023), AWS Rising Star Partner of the Year for Austria (2022), and the AWS Migration & Modernization Competency in 2024. Auvaria is also the Official Launch Partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
The team supports clients across the entire cloud journey: Explore & Ideate, Strategize & Design, Build & Implement, Optimize & Govern, and Innovate & Scale. Services span Modern Workplace, Cloud Migration & Modernization, SaaS Transformation, Data & AI, Platform Development, Business Applications, and Trainings & Workshops.
Where will I work?
Auvaria is headquartered in Vienna with additional offices in Hamburg (opened 2024) and Novi Sad, Serbia (opened 2025), with an earlier Berlin office from 2023. The setup is remote-friendly with limited travel — typically up to 25%. Senior DevOps Engineering roles require fluent English and German. Open positions are advertised as "Permanent Employment, full-time, Wien" with the working-pattern explicitly labelled "4-Days-Week" on the careers page.
What is the Auvaria team like?
Auvaria's culture is built on six named values: Own It (take responsibility, drive results), Think Beyond (challenge norms, push boundaries), Win Together (success is a team sport), Move Fast, Stay Smart (urgency plus smart decisions), Bring the Energy (passion is contagious), and Make an Impact ("we're here to do more than just business"). The team grew to 15 members by 2022 and has expanded across three countries since.
The culture is captured in the company motto: "It's time to change. We change!" — visible across the website and embedded in their evolving 2025 corporate redesign.
