About ATA IT
What is ATA IT?
ATA IT Limited is the Bangkok-based IT company of the National Bank of Canada group. Its homepage says it was "Founded in 2016 in Bangkok and wholly owned by National Bank of Canada (NBC), ATA IT Ltd. - alongside its subsidiary ATBB Ltd. - is a captive IT solutions provider delivering world-class infrastructure and services for both NBC and ABA Bank, a part of the NBC Banking Group." Its tagline begins "A multinational team creating digital solutions" and goes on to describe technology services and infrastructure for the National Bank of Canada Group. The homepage lists eight areas of work: IT Operations, IT Security, Support & Development, Financial Market, Data Management, Infrastructure Continuity, Network and SDET (software test engineering). The live adverts on 6 November 2026 are for software developers on mutual-fund products, a database administrator, a test engineer, business analysts, an application analyst and an administrative officer.
Where will I work?
All 11 adverts open on 6 November 2026 are in Bangkok. The company address is "25 Bangkok Insurance Building, 25th/29th/30th Floor, South Sathorn Road, Thungmahamek, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand", and the benefits page says "Our modern offices, spanning 3 floors, is located in the Bangkok Insurance Building on Sathorn Tai Road." The careers page lists a "hybrid work policy" and several adverts add a "Hybrid Work from Home Policy" or a "Work from Home Policy"; the number of office days is not stated. The Senior Oracle Database Administrator advert says travel to Cambodia for business trips may be required. For people moving to Thailand, the benefits page lists "Work permit & long-term resident visas for all foreign employees and family."
What is the ATA IT team like?
The benefits page says "For over 10 years, we have created a company culture that rewards talent and develops careers." The company writes its values as Agility, Teamwork, Accountability, Innovation and Talent, and the Senior and Intermediate Software Developer adverts say "Work with an agile squad to deliver solutions to meet the business requirements for mutual funding products." (the Trainee Developer advert says "mutual fund products") The homepage invites people to "Be part of a global workplace here in Bangkok", and a 2023 post on the company blog says it recruits from several Southeast Asian countries. Learning support includes in-house English classes and online learning platforms; the blog adds that employees get access to a library of more than 130,000 online courses. Hiring is direct: the careers page says candidates send a resume to the HR department, the team reviews it, there is an interview "either by phone or face interview" and then an offer.
Work-Life Balance
The careers page lists "flexible working hours & hybrid work policy" among its perks, and the benefits page, under "YOUR SCHEDULE", says "flexible schedules & a hybrid work policy." Seven developer, test, database and business-analyst adverts repeat it, two of them (Trainee Developer, Senior SDET) as "Multi-national company with flexible working hours, but professional company culture." and five as the near-identical "Multinational company with flexible working hours, but professional company culture" (two add "a" before "professional"). No core-hours window and no weekly hours figure are published. The adverts give fourteen vacation days for the first year only and do not state the entitlement after that. Two adverts carry fixed commitments to know about: the Junior Application Analyst role works "Tuesday - Saturday to support the Bank", and the Intermediate Software Developer role includes weekly standby support (with a standby allowance).
