What is Amanotes?
Amanotes calls itself "a dynamic music game company" and is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Its careers site says it "is founded by two passionate music & tech lovers: Bill Vo and Silver Nguyen", and LinkedIn lists it as a privately held company founded in 2014. The job ads say its aim is "to create iconic, hybrid-casual music games that people love and play for years", and they name titles such as Magic Tiles 3, Tiles Hop, Dancing Road and Duet Cats. The ads claim "over 3.5 billion downloads across 190+ countries", and the careers page claims "3.5+ billion downloads and over 100 million monthly active users". Today's board also shows a Music App team and several LiveOps roles alongside the games.
Where will I work?
The Vietnam office is at 141-143 Nguyen Co Thach, An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, and the careers site also lists a Singapore office at 11 Irving Place #09-01. All 17 live ads on the Lever board are listed in Ho Chi Minh City, and several role titles say the job is based in HCMC. Work is office-based with a small remote allowance: the benefit lists in the ads state "12 days working from home per year". One ad adds an "Attractive relocation package (for several positions)". No hybrid pattern, remote-only role or fixed office-day rule is stated in any ad.
What is the Amanotes team like?
Sixteen of the 17 live ads are for Amanotes teams: nine in Product, three in Creative, and one each in Data Science, Data Engineering, People and TechOps. The 17th is a LiveOps role at UPLIVE, which asks applicants to use its own recruiting address. The Head of Product (Game) ad describes a Game Center of Excellence that "gathers >30 specialists across five teams" (Game Design, Art, Music, QC and Game Solutions) and says it is scaling AI-powered tooling. The careers site lists three core values (Aim for Growth, Be on Stage and Customer First) and says "We embrace the open and dynamic environment", while the ads mention music events such as "Music Night, Amasing Night". No hiring process is published; the ads simply say to click the apply button or email the talents address.
Work-Life Balance
The "Life at Amanotes" page on the careers site says: "You will have flexible working hours, autonomy to choose how you work best." The benefit lists in 10 of the 17 ads read "Flexible working time", across Product, People, Data Science, Creative and TechOps roles; the other seven ads carry no hours wording (five have no benefits list at all, one is a freelance motion-design ad with a short offer list, and one is the UPLIVE ad). No core-hours window, start or finish time, or weekly hour count is published. ITviec's employer-submitted company profile lists working days as "Monday - Friday" and the overtime policy as "No OT". Time off in the ads is "Minimum 12 days of paid annual leave, plus 10 days of paid sick leave." and the ads say "We believe in work-life harmony". Glassdoor could not be read, so there is no verified outside rating of work-life balance.
