Launched in 2019, Altra has grown from a mission-driven startup to a trusted partner for hundreds of care homes across Ireland, the UK, and expanding European markets. We're dedicated to transforming the way care facilities engage with residents and their families through our innovative app platform.

Our technology bridges the gap between care providers, residents, and families, making meaningful connections easier and enhancing the quality of person-centred care. We work alongside large global players in the social care sector, currently rolling out our solutions across hundreds of facilities throughout Europe.

Our Product Suite

Altra Family allows care homes to share updates on the well-being of residents directly with families. Through our secure, intuitive platform, families only see information relevant to their loved one through videos, pictures, messages, and more. This creates peace of mind for families while celebrating the daily moments that matter most.

Wellbeing Hub provides access to expert-curated content for active ageing. We partner with leading experts in active ageing, dementia care, and wellness to produce state-of-the-art exercise videos and wellness resources specifically designed to improve the lives of older adults in care homes and at home. This one-of-a-kind expert programming is available effortlessly on any device, ensuring residents have access to engaging, appropriate activities whenever they need them.

Altra Staff makes communication between managers and team members a breeze. By streamlining previously manual processes like shift scheduling, announcements, and team updates, we're saving managers hours each day to put back into resident wellbeing where it matters most.
