About Administrate

What is Administrate?

Administrate is a training management platform built for enterprise corporate training teams and training companies. Headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland with key roles across four continents, the company creates software that enables global organisations to organise, plan, deliver, and measure their learning and development operations end-to-end.

What began as small business training software has scaled into an enterprise platform used by some of the largest corporations in the world. Customers include TÜV SÜD, who standardized their global training programmes and reduced overhead by 81% using Administrate. The company's stated ambition is to build the "Ultimate Human Organization" — a people-first software business.

Where will I work?

Administrate's head office is in Edinburgh, Scotland, but the team has been geo-distributed since well before the pandemic. Key roles are located across four continents and the company has the tools, culture, and processes already in place to make distributed working effective. Most engineering, operations, and customer-facing roles are remote-eligible.

What is the Administrate team like?

Administrate's culture is shaped by five values: Transparent (honesty and fact-based decision-making), Reliable (own responsibilities, communicate openly about challenges), Curious (advocate for customers' interests), Team (effective collaborators who default to thinking the best of colleagues), and Growth (continuous improvement, taking smart risks). The company is intentional about diversity and inclusion: volunteer teams focused on workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and D&I help hold the organisation accountable. Expertise spans developers, system engineers, product managers, project managers, sales, marketing, account management, and support.

Work-Life Balance

Administrate runs a four-day work schedule — paid for five days, with one day back to spend on what matters to you. On top of that, every team member earns over six weeks of paid time off per year and begins accruing it on day one. The company is explicit that work-life balance is "real" and that they will not sacrifice the team for success. A flexible working policy applies across all roles.
