Who We Are
Act Now Coalition is a non-profit startup with a unique mission: we identify and execute on the biggest opportunities for software products to advance public good. Instead of maximizing profit, we maximize positive impact. We're building a workplace, community, and culture that empowers mission-driven professionals who want to leverage their skills to improve the world.
Our multidisciplinary team of 15 brings together expertise across engineering, design, partnerships, policy, and media. We believe that accurate, accessible, and actionable data is critical to help leaders and individuals make informed, impactful decisions.
What We Do
We focus on transforming complex data into meaningful action through a four-step approach:
- Collect real-time local data – even when it's messy and challenging to aggregate
- Synthesize data, news, and research into actionable information that people can actually use
- Build user-friendly data products that make complex information accessible to everyone
- Reach the people who need information where they are, ensuring our tools serve the communities that need them most
