About 92 Minutes
What is 92 Minutes?
92 Minutes is a Gold-accredited 4-day-week, woman-owned communications consultancy based in Southampton, UK, dedicated to helping "for good" organisations get heard. As they put it on their own homepage: "92 Minutes is a woman owned communications consultancy helping 'for good' organisations get heard. Our marketing and communications services get your story heard, however you need that to be."
The team works across e-newsletters, marketing, social media, strategy, training, women-focused communications, and writing & research. Their clients are women's organisations, co-operatives, independent businesses, charities and social enterprises — working across campaigns, activism, the "women in" space, the arts, education, entrepreneurship, music, retail and STEM. The 4 Day Week Foundation lists 92 Minutes as Gold-accredited: "92 Minutes is a communications consultancy helping 'for good' organisations get heard. Based in Southampton."
Where will I work?
92 Minutes is Southampton-based with flexible/hybrid working. The team is small (DB has two employees) and delivers marketing strategy, content, social media management, impact reports, fundraising applications, newsletters, blog series and trade-show support for the for-good sector. Contact is direct: 07909 092 924 or [email protected].
What is the 92 Minutes team like?
The team is led by Becky John (Founder & Director), who has a deep background in retail, business-to-business sales and business development, and previously founded the award-winning social enterprise Who Made Your Pants? in Southampton — supporting women refugees by providing work. The "tiny budget, big results" digital marketing skills she developed there are now the foundation of how 92 Minutes supports its clients. Becky is "passionate about empowering and advancing women," a consumer of Agatha Christie novels, and a regular visitor to the New Forest and Cornwall.
Rose Jones (Digital Marketing Assistant) joined the team after a six-month Kickstart placement and now manages day-to-day digital marketing including website and social-media content scheduling, graphic creation, customer interaction monitoring and client liaison. Rose loves trying out new recipes and spending time in London with her cat.
The firm's tagline reflects its ethos: "You can do a lot in 92 minutes. Orbit the Earth for one thing. We make a little time go a long way, too."
Work-Life Balance
92 Minutes is a Gold-accredited 4 Day Week Foundation employer — a permanent 32-hour (or less) 4-day week with no loss of pay. Quoting the founder's own framing: 92 Minutes was built around helping small organisations punch above their weight on tiny budgets, and the firm's own model reflects that — making "a little time go a long way."
