About the role: The Operations Associate will be part of a team responsible for assessing and making decisions on applications for KiwiSaver early withdrawals.
The role will require the ability to liaise with our Managed Investment Scheme KiwiSaver clients on a professional basis while fulfilling the Company’s statutory obligations.
About you: We’re looking for an administrative superstar with strong administration and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn.
This role would be well suited to a recent graduate looking to kick-start their career with a great company that offers opportunities for learning, development and career progression. A background or qualification in business, accounting or a related field would be advantageous.
You’ll be comfortable using technology and have strong computer literacy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Most importantly, you’ll bring enthusiasm, curiosity and an eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
You will also be a team player with the ability to support and work across teams as the need arises in support of workload management. Ideally, you will have the following qualities:

Key Responsibilities
- Process KiwiSaver early withdrawal applications in accordance with legislation and best practice guidelines.
- Receive incoming Kiwisaver early withdrawal applications and posting active cases to CRM.
- Ensure professional client communications are carried out.
- Ad-hoc project management and general assistance to the wider team as required, especially any business unit statutory reporting obligations of TCS.
- Engage with industry and other sources of intelligence to identify emerging risks, themes and best practice.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A minimum of two-three years’ experience in financial services is preferred.
- An understanding of, and experience in, the KiwiSaver early withdrawal process would be advantageous, but not essential.
- An keen eye for detail and an understanding of customer expectations.
- Solid personal computer skills, especially MS Office.
- Client service focused and strong people skills.
- Ability to communicate and influence all levels of an organisation up to senior management
- Sound judgement and application of policies.
