Job Title: Uyghur Bilingual Expert

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transcribe and annotate Uyghur-language video content with high accuracy, clearly outlining precise timestamps.
  2. Describe and interpret the emotionality and tone of speakers, providing nuanced insights for AI training.
  3. Analyze and evaluate grammar, syntax, and linguistic structures in both Uyghur and English materials.
  4. Define the conceptual aspects and contextual meanings of complex words and phrases.
  5. Deliver comprehensive language analysis, supporting various advanced linguistic tasks as needed.
  6. Ensure the clarity and quality of all written and verbal communications, upholding industry standards.
  7. Commit to at least 15 hours of dedicated work per week, consistently meeting deadlines and quality expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional bilingual proficiency in Uyghur and English, with demonstrated expertise in both languages.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity, detail, and emotional nuance.
  3. Extensive experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistic analysis.
  4. Strong ability to interpret grammar, tone, and context within multimedia content.
  5. Capacity to distill complex language concepts for technical or non-technical audiences.
  6. High degree of reliability, autonomy, and commitment to delivering quality results.
  7. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, maintaining consistent productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in language data annotation, localization, or translation projects.
  2. Background in linguistics or related fields with a focus on Central Asian languages.
  3. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or speech recognition technologies.
