We are looking to hire a student career assistant to begin training at the end of the spring 2026 term (or during the summer, if available) and continue with us during the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is for the Career Design Center at OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon.
The Student Career Assistant is based at OSU-Cascade in Bend, Oregon. It supports the Career Design Center’s mission by advising and mentoring students in career and self‑development, including job and internship preparation, professional documents review and preparation, and interviewing skills. This role expands equitable access to career readiness through classroom presentations, peer advising, event coordination, and strategic communication efforts that connect students with resources, employers, and experiential learning opportunities. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and employers, the Career Assistant helps embed career design throughout students’ educational journeys and prepares them to thrive in a dynamic workforce.
