Our facility in 1210 Vienna is a strategic site for solid dosage forms such as tablets, film-coated tablets, granules, and implants for the protection and treatment of livestock and pets. Senior Specialist, Operations (m/f/d)

Full-time, immediate start

Your tasks and responsibilities in this position include:

  • Independent management and further development of topics in the manufacturing environment with a focus on GMP, EHS, Quality, and Compliance requirements
  • Taking responsibility for relevant AHQM (Animal Health Quality Manual) topics at the site
  • Processing, coordination, and tracking of SSO (Sub System Owner) and QRM (Quality Risk Management) activities
  • Independent investigation, assessment, and processing of simple and complex deviations, including the derivation and implementation of appropriate measures
  • Independent management and support of Change Controls as well as other quality-relevant change topics
  • Ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and robust, sustainable processes in day-to-day operations
  • Identification, analysis, and implementation of process optimizations in the bulk area
  • Analysis of operational challenges as well as the development and implementation of concrete measures for sustainable improvement
  • Acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for audit-relevant topics and selected projects
  • Close coordination with stakeholders from various departments for the successful implementation of measures and projects
  • Active participation in and partial leadership of projects with high relevance for quality, compliance, and operations
  • Collaboration on the implementation and introduction of eLogs in the department
  • Responsibility for the maintenance, revision, and updating of the SOP portfolio
  • Participation in the creation and further development of the SOP landscape
  • Conducting and coordinating training for department specialists on GMP, EHS, and process-relevant topics
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines in the area of GMP and EHS in the operational environment
  • Support for product transfers

For this position, you bring the following qualifications:

  • Solid education in Life Sciences, natural sciences, or technology (e.g., HTL, Bachelor's or Master's degree)
  • Several years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally in the production or manufacturing sector
  • Very good understanding of GMP, EHS, and quality requirements
  • Strong process understanding as well as the ability to quickly grasp and structure complex workflows
  • Process engineering background is desirable
  • Solid knowledge of the systems and processes at the site, ideally from roles such as Production Specialist, Shift Supervisor, or comparable functions
  • Experience in processing deviations, change controls, SOP revisions, and compliance topics
  • Very high level of independence, personal initiative, and ownership
  • Strong ability to independently prioritize, drive, and sustainably implement topics
  • Confident demeanor and proactive collaboration with stakeholders from different departments
  • Experience in implementing improvement and compliance initiatives in the manufacturing environment
  • Experience in project management is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English skills

The minimum salary is EUR 61.300 gross/year; willingness to overpay depending on qualification profile and professional experience is given.
