Job Description
To strengthen our team in the BSL 3 laboratory at our animal health production site in Cologne, we are looking to fill, at the earliest possible date, a permanent full-time position as Senior Quality Control Technician (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- Performing and evaluating analytical tests in the quality control laboratory in accordance with GMP guidelines and valid work instructions in the BSL3 laboratory.
- GMP-compliant documentation of test results and recording of release-relevant data in SAP.
- Contributing to the investigation of deviations and OOS results, and to ensuring laboratory operations that are ready for audits and inspections.
- Supporting the development, optimization, validation and transfer of analytical methods, as well as the qualification of laboratory equipment.
- Responsibility for the calibration and operational readiness of laboratory equipment, chemical management, and compliance with safety, health and biosafety requirements.
Your profile:
- A completed degree in science or engineering and/or relevant vocational training in pharma, biology, chemistry, etc.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and, where applicable, SAP
- Very good spoken and written German and English skills are required
- Initial professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry in quality control and solid GMP knowledge would be desirable
- Good teamwork and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility for assigned tasks, initiative, quick comprehension and an accurate way of working characterize you
