Job Description
- Plan, develop, and execute functional tests (manual and automated) for Web, Mobile, and payment device applications (POS/SmartPOS/PinPad)
- Ensure the quality of deliverables by identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs until resolution
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts, contributing to the evolution of automated test suites
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test scenarios
- Perform validation of integrations, especially in payment flows and communication with external services
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvements in the quality process
- Support the definition of test strategies and best practices within the team
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of software testing fundamentals
- Experience with manual and automated functional testing
- Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Postman, or Flutter Integration Test
- Knowledge of code versioning with Git
- Experience with Jira or similar demand management tools
- Experience with test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, Test Plan, or similar)
- Ability to write automation scripts and create/maintain test suites
- Capacity to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with different areas
- Experience with testing on non-conventional devices (POS, SmartPOS, and PinPad)
- Knowledge of API and integration testing
Differentials
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Testing certification, such as CTFL or equivalent
- Experience with performance testing
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, etc.)
- Experience with test execution in Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with testing in Mobile applications (Android/iOS) (Flutter, Appium, or equivalents)
