Senior Operator
Welcome to our team
We are the largest and most versatile pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands. For more than 130 years, our organization has invested in the major medical challenges of our time. This keeps us at the heart of society. Developing, researching, producing and packaging. It all happens here, right in the Netherlands. We don't do this alone. Together with our 5,000 employees in North Holland and Brabant, we are committed to a healthier world. With a diverse and inclusive workforce, we work every day towards a safe, sustainable and healthy future. For people and animals alike.
About the role
Working with medicines follows strict protocols. Hygienic, precise and safe. You understand how important it is to follow these guidelines. You therefore have a strong sense of responsibility. Working towards a healthier world can only be done together. Naturally, it is therefore important that you collaborate well. As a Senior Operator, your most important task is to keep the production lines for veterinary medicines running. You do this by coordinating the daily production process and providing direction to a team of 6 to 15 fellow operators. You supervise the quality of production. Do you notice deviations on the line? Then you report them immediately. You are also always looking for areas to improve in the processes and methods we use. We value motivation to learn more than work experience. What you don't know yet, you will learn with us.
Responsibilities
You will mix and fill various animal vaccines. You do this in a cleanroom environment. A very pure space where there is no room for contaminating substances. Filters remove microorganisms from the air. Hygiene and safety are therefore a top priority for you. To ensure this, you work with clear procedures, such as the GMP guideline. Your duties may include:
- Coaching and training new operators.
- Managing stock in SAP.
- Creating staff schedules.
- Recording and following up on deviations in line with safety regulations and procedures.
- Developing problem analyses.
Your profile
- At least a MBO level 4 diploma, for example in process technology (Vapro-C), laboratory technology, chemistry or logistics.
- Work experience as a senior operator, with a focus on coaching and guiding employees.
- Good speaking and writing skills in Dutch.
We offer
The opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of animals and people, in a stable environment where collaboration and collegiality come first. In addition, you can count on:
- Competitive salary depending on your knowledge and experience.
- A 3% year-end payment and an annual bonus based on personal and company results.
- At least 35.5 days of leave.
- Travel expense allowance and a solid pension scheme.
- A high-quality company restaurant with fresh and healthy options daily.
- Excellent accessibility: the train station is located directly at our main entrance and there is ample parking.
- A contribution to your personal sports subscription to support your vitality.
- A beautiful private park on the grounds, ideal for a walk, a break or a moment of relaxation.
- Mental well-being support via Lyra Health for you and your family members.
- Access to a separate prayer/meditation room.
- Extensive growth opportunities thanks to the size of the site and the presence of many disciplines and global departments represented in Boxmeer.
- A workplace within an organization that is continuously growing and developing.
