For our Animal Health location in Boxmeer, we are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a driven Senior Maintenance Technician to strengthen our team. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and improving technical installations and production equipment. You ensure that malfunctions are resolved quickly and effectively so that production processes continue to run optimally and downtime is kept to a minimum. In addition, you play an important role in identifying structural improvements and increasing technical reliability.
About the position
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for analyzing and resolving technical disruptions and performing maintenance work on process installations. You work within a complex production environment and combine hands-on work with coordination and analysis.
Where a Maintenance Technician focuses on execution, as a senior, you go a step further: you are an expert in your field, coordinate work, and maintain contacts with external parties. In addition, you actively contribute to improvement projects and the further optimization of processes.
Furthermore, you get the chance to share your knowledge by coaching colleagues and acting as a technical point of contact within the organization.
Tasks and responsibilities
Your duties include, among others:
- Detecting, analyzing, and resolving malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
- Executing and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance
- Performing root cause analyses and implementing structural solutions
- Carrying out modifications and contributing to technical improvements
- Coordinating work and managing external parties (suppliers)
- Contributing to maintenance and investment projects, including FAT/SAT activities
- Ensuring correct administration and documentation in maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Working according to applicable guidelines such as GMP, SHE, ARBO, and quality standards
- Participating in on-call duties and responding adequately to malfunctions and emergencies
Your profile
- You have a completed technical education at MBO+ level
- You have at least 5–7 years of experience in a similar technical role
- You have broad knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, and/or industrial automation
- You possess specialist knowledge (e.g., HVAC, NEN, pneumatics, or control engineering)
- You are analytically strong and have a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- You have good communication and coaching skills
- You are familiar with working within a regulated environment (e.g., GMP)
- You have experience with maintenance systems and technical documentation
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Yellow Belt) is a plus
