Job Description
What will your main deliverables be?
- Responsible for administering, configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the Serasa Experian workload automation environment;
- You will act as a technical reference, ensuring reliable execution of critical workflows, and supporting development, infrastructure, and operations teams in the implementation and maintenance of Control-M Jobs;
- Understand the technological landscape of our internal clients and propose solution designs compatible with our tools, security rules, and Compliance;
- Keep our production environment operational and updated with our roadmap;
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Administer the Control-M environment, including installation, upgrades, patch application, and advanced troubleshooting;
- Create, configure, and maintain Job flows (workflows), ensuring standardization, performance, and governance;
- Monitor daily routines, handle failures and incidents, ensuring SLA compliance;
- Develop integrations using Control M x File Transfer;
- Document procedures, standards, operational policies, and best practices;
- Perform capacity, performance, and workload optimization analyses;
- Participate in digital transformation projects related to process automation;
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for incidents, problems, and changes;
- Ensure security, compliance, and access management in the Control M environment;
- Ensure the functioning of tools under our responsibility, such as BMC Control-M, IBM Connect:Direct, and Axway Secure Transport;
- Identify process automation opportunities;
- Update our technology infrastructure by applying security fixes/versioning/updates/vulnerability patches;
- Implement file exchange integration standards between on-premise and Cloud environments (e.g., aws/azure/etc);
- Ensure that applications under your responsibility comply with Experian's security policies;
- Monitor our environments identifying opportunities for improvement in performance and availability;
- Keep documentation updated on Control-M infrastructure and other automation tools;
- Be the technical focal point in projects and audits involving our environments and ensure we are following recommended standards.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Advanced English for conversation (participation in Global team meetings), manual reading, technical ticket opening, email exchange);
- Complete higher education in the technology field;
- Knowledge of BMC Control M (Administration and Operations);
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell Script, PowerShell, Python, or similar);
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server;
- Experience with ITIL practices (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of AirFlow;
- Knowledge of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server, and Control M/Agent;
- Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex workflows;
- Knowledge of REST API integrations and Control M Automation API usage;
- Notions of networks, protocols, and file transfers (SFTP);
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Control M SaaS;
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins);
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Zabbix, DataDog);
- Previous experience in critical operations (24x7) and high availability;
- Experience with file transfer tools, such as IBM Connect:Direct.
